About Lucano Atilola
My Story
Lucano Atilola (born Lucano Atilola Ishaka Simon) is an African-American actor,
entrepreneur, and poet known for starring in the films Divert Lea, LP, Arachne Dame: The Spider
Strikes, and The Fast Life, among several others. Emanating from Brooklyn, New York, he racked
up supporting roles in the films Equal Standard starring Ice-T, For My Kids, and Luna Star, as well
as featured in the movies The Night Of, and Godfather of Harlem. Gracing the screen in music
entertainment, Lucano was cast in supporting roles in numerous music videos including “Today
Tonight” by Joel Brewster, and “Not a Bad Thing” by Grammy winner and music icon Justin
Timberlake
Building on the momentum of his many successes, Lucano featured in several popular
prime time TV shows such as Limitless, Blindspot, Sneaky Pete, and NYPD Blue on major network
television companies including CBS, NBC, and Amazon. He also worked with a variety of
production companies including Bochco Production, Gordon Productions, JJ Casting, Brewster,
Radical Media, and Monstar Productions, to name a few. Amassing over a decade of experience
as a professional actor, Lucano refined his skills and talents and catapulted his career to the next
level. He enrolled in drama and commercial courses in both New York and Los Angeles, studied
modeling under Gerald Donte Scott, and commercial improvisation with Stuart Stone and Mike
Pointe
Bringing his creative expressions and mysterious personality to life, Lucano performed
poetry in Tallahassee, Florida at FAMU University, and in New York at the Brooklyn Moon,
Brooklyn Tea Party, Hottest Poet in Harlem, New York Film Festival, and Nuyorican Poets Café.
Broadening his innovative and ambitious mindset, Lucano Atilola is currently establishing his own
business and developing his production company that caters to the ever-expanding
entertainment industry whilst he continues to near the pinnacle of his artistic journey
